Day 4: Fukuoka Castle 福岡城跡 - Fukuoka, Japan


Staying near Ohorikoen Station, it is just walking distance to the Fukuoka Castle.  But really, it's nothing like the Osaka castle.  This is pretty the only remaining part of the castle and this is the entrance of the park.  Once we got pass this point, there really is nothing inside.


Some history about the place, which I didn't read because it was too hot that day...




Following the sign, we walk walk walk, hoping to see more of castle remains.



But this is it.  There aren't much in this park other than trees.  Nonetheless, it's a nice stroll in the park to get some fresh air.



More info on the park which none of us had the mood to read.  Everyone were busy taking selfies.
